Sure. We can trade or whatever. It's just 2 one oz bottles. I'm sure I have something else in there I'd pass along too. Oh. An 8oz bottle of neroli FO. That's not my fave either. I put it in chamomile and the end result is ok but don't love it.

It's gelling, my milk soap is actually gelling! Maybe I should let it...? I don't know when it started doing this. Oh and my BB order was shipped today! wooo

on the BB order! Yay! I got three boxes today, one each from BB, CG, & Sweetcakes. BB was my favorite.

Oh! I cut up the Oatmeal Milk & Honey (unscented). Here it is:

I like the color, but I need to practice with milk so I can get milk soaps lighter when I need them to be. Is milk the only thing that darkened this or does the honey darken it, too? The smell is like toasted oats... nice and homey.

I washed off the bits that were on my hands from cutting it, and it is already giving me a nice lather. The wait to use this will kill me... but I always have needed more lessons in patience.

ETA: I was just cleaning up and picked up the baggie with the bits of OMH shavings in it. While the thicker piece is still dark, the skimpy little shavings have dried to a masking tape color. I wonder if the whole batch will lighten like this as it sets? Nice!

Yes, it will all lighten up. The color of the milk/lye before you add it to the oils is one determining factor to the final color. The honey will darken the soap on its own.

I think I should be brave like you and just go for the oatmeal, milk & honey. (I ran out of oils yesterday!) My milk soap this morning is hard enough but there seems to be little air pockets (they look like white specks) with ash on them.

I will have to keep working on this one. I love the size of these though. Since I made this batch 48 oz. each bar is thicker.

Those bars are FANTASTIC!!! Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I'd buy those in a heartbeat!!!

ETA: What did you use to color the swirl? Is that an ITP swirl? How did you get them so delicate? You get brave and do the OMH (not nearly as hard as you think

) and I'll get brave enough to try a swirl and pray that I'm half as good as you at it! I'm still floored at how beautiful those bars are...
