Don't think I got pm

Eeew no thank you, that's possibly the only job worse than cleaning the house (or going to work).

Newest goatmilk soap...
This is the ABSOLUTELY weirdest soap I've made ---Cocoa and Pink Peppermint.

The peppermint part traced quick and the cocoa part didn't barely trace, but I poured them together in the *molds anyway.
It smells delightful, but I don't know that I'd want to wash with it.
And the rest of that almost 10 lbs of oils. The orangey are also peppermint and was supposed to be red/white.
The blue/purple was supposed to be green and is scented bayberry. That's the batch that almost got away from me and I had to scrape it out of the pots with a spatula.
The creamy-white is unscented goatmilk and oatmeal. That's the first batch that I tried with minimal liquid and cooled the lye mix / oils down so much that it took over an hour to trace. It's the only time any has come out that white.

*Molds! I had some 2" id pvc pipe and cut it in 12" lengths. Capped one end with a double layer of wax paper and rubberbands, pour straight in the upright pvc pipe lengths. Cute little 2+ oz bars --- I've got to make twice as many labels, hahaha!

Looks good. I need to make a little PVC mold for test batches.

I did a soap demo yesterday for daughters GT class. They have been studying science experiments. We discussed saponification and as a reaction. Had my oils all mix. Just had to add lye to milk then to oils, FO and pour. I did gardenia. I don't love gardenia but this one smells ok. It did trace very fast and flopped into mold but oh we'll. Kids got to see it go from liquid to very thick. It even was at a full gel in less than 10 minutes so they got to see that too. We had preloads some bars for them that area 2 layer green cucumber that also almost turned to soap on a stick and had to be glopped into the pan. In the spirit of Halloween we named it monster boogers.

That's my daughter center front and her class and teacher with their monster booger soap.
