We have 3 chickens we raised from babies and just got three adults from a lady in town. Is there a good way to socialize them with each other? Our 3 we raised are very good with us, but are attackin the other 3 and want nothing to do with them. As of right now they are separated, but we would like them all to live together eventually.

If you can keep them seperated by a fence for a week or so it will protect them and let them get use to each other. Then put them together during the day when you can watch them. They will still need to sort out pecking order but, it should go better. Good Luck and Congrats on the new hens!

Put them in an area where they can see each other, but not fight. If you can separate them in your coop, that would work best. Give them about a week to adjust to each other, then put them together at night. There will be some bullying, as they figure out their new pecking order, but as long as there isn't blood, let them work it out.
