Socializing new birds

I just got 4 new Barred Rock pullets to add to my five brown leghorns I raised from chicks. The BL are about 8 weeks and the BR are about 4 months. They are very stand-offish right now. How long does it take before they are one big happy family?

I'm not sure but I hope you find out. I'm getting a shipment of 11 chicks soon and my older flock will be exactly 8 weeks old when they arrive, so once they are old enough to be integrated I'll be in the same position.
