Nice setup! One thing you may want to seriously consider, though, is putting mesh around and a solid top over your heat pump/AC unit. If you don't, you're gonna have one mell-uv-a-hess with chicken poo and feathers!

Yeah actually another member suggested I put a cover around it which I did today since we rarely use it. We have an ocean breeze where we live and it's so mild. But yeah if we have a hot summer and need to use it will definitely do something like you suggests.
I always knew the AC unit would be an issue but it's the only area in my yard with shade!
