Soft egg again !!!

I've been mixing in oyster shell with there food and gave them some of their egg shells yesterday and still someone layed a soft egg in the poop boreds. They most likely ate the yoke. This is the 3rd or 4th one and they take a couple weeks break in between.

What are they eating?
You shouldn't mix it in, just set it out as free choice. They'll take it if they need it. Sometimes too much calcium in their diet can trigger the same effects as not having enough would.

They eat All flock because of the rooster.

I just asked because old chickens can lay soft eggs I think.

It should be in a separate feeder.
If it's one particular bird, you can prepare a special breakfast with calcium supplements.

Roosters can eat later feed too.

It's best if they don't.

Yes they have it in a separate bowl but someone said I should mix some in so they get some calcium since they needed it. I have them back on just the feed now and they seem to be doing fine again.
