Soft egg dropped from roosting bar, vet prescribe Clavacillin 250mg twice daily, not chicken behaving ill

So sorry for the typos. I tried to reply on my phone and that was just a mess. My other 4 chickens have not had any soft shells that i have found Since the incident. The other two 3 yo hens have slowed down their laying recently with the days becoming shorter. In fact my best layer notably hasn’t laid since Sunday as well. the chicken on antibiotic) has not laid since her egg dropped off the roosting bar on Saturday (but they vet did tell me to reduce her sunlight to try to prevent laying) so she is coming in the house in a dark room at 5:30 each night for 2 weeks (started this on Monday as well).

Sorry, I responded in the wrong place! Please see my response below.
Saw it, its all good. For future reference, you do have a lengthy edit window, but its not needed here. I'm steppig off, you are in good hands with Eggcessive.

/edit and you've read my comments scucessfully, no need to apologize for typos. its the info that matters, not the pretty presentation. We don't judge here (ok, we do, but I've found the community rather forgiving of spelling and grammar errors!) Thankfully

Permethrin is terrible for fish. But generally not a problem for poultry and other avians. Kind of them to publish that for you. Piperonyl Butoxide is quite common in associtation w/ pyrethoids, but I'd need to look up its interactions with chickens. and on p44 of this, I'm comforted.
Yes, i brought them in the house out of an abundance of caution and love for my feather babies. I read that the spray is deactivated by UV rays once day breaks, which is why i let them out to free range as usual during the day. I dont think the spraying caused any of this, but perhaps being without supplemental calcium for 3-4 days, however the Other 4 chicken have not laid any soft shells that i have seen.

Thank you all for caring!!!!! I really appreciate you!! What do you all think of the Clavacillin 250mg twice daily? It’s my hunch that this is what is giving her the watery stools, which potentially is causing dehydration and lethargy. I started probiotics (save-a-chick) in their water yesterday, and have been giving her electrolytes (save-a-chick) mix via syringe today In addition to the probiotics. I also have her 1ml of nutridrenice this morning As well. She is inside the house resting now. What do you think of the probiotic/ electrolytes/ nutridrence? I see the chicken chick recommends prozymes as well…

I also saw the post about extra calcium, beside the oyster shells. I dont have calcium on hand, except oyster shells, tums, or i could cook up some of the eggs and crack to eggshells right in with it.
im open to any/all suggestions?

Also, just taking her to the vet on Monday could have exposed her to something contagious i suppose….

You say the vet started her on an antibiotic probably due to her having an infection.

Birds that are fed daily treats can become overweight extremely quickly...without you even noticing it.
One thing that almost all of the disorders listed on the link below have in common is overweightness or not being fed a proper balanced diet.

I don't know if you overfed treats or not but most people don't understand that feeding treats daily is indeed feeding too much treats so it is highly likely that most people overfeed treats.

Long story short your bird could be suffering from any one of these listed here:
Some of which can be cured by antibiotics if caught early enough... Unfortunately most of the time it's too late by the time you realize your bird is ill.

Tums can be used in place of human calcium tablet. A little yogurt for D3 can be helpful. Amoxicillin dosage is 57 mg per pound twice a day, so the clavacillin is probably okay.
She is 5 lbs, so 250mg every 12 hours is probably pretty spot on dosage wise… but its definitely making her feel off. Is that common?

should i give her the entire tums?

Have you had this chicken for most of three years?
Do you feed daily treats or treats often?
Yes, i adopted them when they were 2.5 months old. I feed them dried meal worms as treats most days. I’d say 20 each periodically throughout the day. Why do you ask?
