Soft Egg Shells

The eggs my chickens lay have very soft shells. Does anybody know why?

If their new layers it could just be their body trying to get things right. If not it sounds like their lacking calcium in their diet. What are you feeding them?? If it's not a layer feed you need to offer some free choice oyster shells and they will eventually get things right!
