soft eggs and in the box again???

yesterday both my girls each laid an egg. This morning there were 2 soft eggs on the floor of the coop. And now my BR is in the nest box and my rir is looking for a new place to lay- they don't like sharing.

So 4 eggs in 1 day?? Well 2 each? My BR. Is only on her 3rd day of laying so I was thinking the soft egg was hers- but that would mean she's on her 3rd egg in a day.
Is this normal?

The BR just laid a. Normal egg in the box. What's going on with these girls?

When they start to lay (most) anything that is not a normal egg laying behavior is normal. This "fart Egg"

laying can go off and on for a week sometimes so just keep waiting

P.S. Fart Egg is not my word its what they call it.

Thank you for your reply. I figured as much with the soft egg- I was more concerned about the amount of eggs today- 2 to 3 eggs each?
