Soft eggs.. how long?

We got our first egg this weekend (and another yesterday) and both were very soft (huge bummer!) All our birds are young, so this is the very first eggs we've gotten. I knew to expect a soft egg or two, but how long do you think it'll take for these to firm up? We've incorporated oyster shells into the feed over the last few days. My worry is that I've done a little reading and our water is pretty salty (it KILLED our Christmas tree within days)... I'm wondering if we should switch this, or wait to see if the oyster shells do the trick.

I'd say from this your concern about the salt is justified.
