i am havin the same problem the eggs are getting smaller and lighter and softer what can cause this. i was out of town for a week and family took care of the chicken, she was feeding them scratch instead of 15% pellets, they have beem back on 15% for 3 days now hope this will work???!!

They need to have feed and not just scratch, & corn!! That doesn't have the protein that they need!!

I give mine flock raiser feed, scratch, BOSS, oyster shell & grit
