Soft Shell First Egg

I had a few from time to time when my girls started laying, I wouldn't worry if your giving them what they need, it happens

Good to hear. I have 5 pullet hens and one of my RIR started laying a few days ago and eggs are good. Then last night when I went to lock them up there was a very soft shell egg on the ground under the roost. I figured she accidentally pushed it out when she was flying up to the roost as it wasn't fully developed. They are on layer feed and oyster shell.
