soft shelled duck egg

Today our buff duck laid an egg with what looked like an egg that had just started forming a shell. She laid this morning and they all eat breeder feed. Could it be stress? We got a soft shelled egg about a week ago too and she looks normal. Is this a problem?

My girls have on occasion laid one.
I just chalk it up to one of those things as long as it doesn't become a regularity.

BTW- the soft shell egg is edible, just needs to be used right away. can't store it.
