Soft shelled egg and Impacted crop

Hello y'all,

When I went to go shut my hens in last night, One of my hens came out of the house in an "egg laying position", I thought it was weird and that she may be egg bound so I cuddled with her for a bit. She then tried to climb me and when she did she panicked a bit and a soft shelled egg dropped out of her. Weird, I checked her over, gave her some scrambled eggs mixed with a calcium citrate tablet and sent her to bed.

This morning I let all the chooks out and noticed her crop was impacted (she's had this before about a year ago which I solved) I'm worried if this has had something to do with the soft egg? She's acting completely fine right now but I need to unimpact this crop, I've kind of forgotten the best methods to, I'm currently giving her oil through the mouth and just trying to massage and break up her crop, no food for her either, anything else I should do for her?

Use coconut oil chilled to avoid aspiration of oil. crop issues can be associated with egg binding when the blockage prevents digestive flow. But do not discount a second egg being stuck. Often two are involved in egg binding.
