what kind of feed? Protein %? Treats, if any how often? Do they have oyster shell on the side to take what they need? Some hens require more calcium than others. 16% or 17% protein; calcium from oyster shells and ground egg shells. Treats are mealworms and scratch. I also make hot meals of oatmeal, brown rice, quinoa, raisins with cayenne pepper as a meal add on. i'm going to give the one hen some liquid calcium to see if that helps. She could be upset with all the unseasonably cold weather and now the 18" of snow we just had in NC. I've been caring for chickens for 15 years. Never saw this before.
