Solar lighting

Hi i have a couple of those solar garden lights on the ground near my birds.
Would this attract attention from Predators or would it aid in keeping them away.
For all birds would outdoor lights be any good or a waste in keeping predators at bay.

Neither! Lights will not deter predators, at least racoons and possums. Had them kill right under a big halogen light in my backyard right next to the chicken run and motion lights in my front yard.

Lights just help you see the disaster that just happened.
