Believe it or not I think the solar light helped the plants in my plant bed this year. I have this old bathtub I fill with dirt and then I cover it with a window to grow tomatoe plants and pepper, One night I noticed that some 4th of July solar lights I had under my building were glowing so I bought them out and put them up next to the chicken run just for fun. This tub was right next to the lights and after I put them there the plants started growing much better. I wondered if just the added light helped them.
