Sold as an Amercana chick,

This bird does not look anything like my other Amercana birds. I bought her as a chick, no muff or beard.

Most of the chicks being sold as ameraucanas are actually easter eggers, which can have a variety of colors and characteristics. It's not uncommon for them to be clean faced like yours. However, the biggest reason that yours looks so different from the rest is that this one is a cockerel. He's very handsome though. I have one that looks very similar to him.

I kind of thought he might be an Easter Egger cockerel. Wasn't sure since he does not have the muff and beard. Thanks for your help.
