Sold as an Australorp... but..now its a mystery

I'm thinking maybe a sebright, I agree with @sylviethecochin The head markings don't look right for a glw?
I don't think that the chick is actually laced. There's not enough black in the feathers, and it looks larger in the picture [EDT: than a sebright would]. If you look a partridge rock chicks online, this chick is actually very similar to them. (There are two different colour patterns for partridge rock chicks. Some are almost entirely dark, and some have the "partridge stripes." I'm not sure why this is.)

Then my guess would be golden sebright.
That is interesting that you mentioned it. Dave is "smaller" than the rest.

Yeah, but it is a hatchery bird, so allowances must be made. I personally would like to see it beside other chicks of the same age before I make judgements as to how small or large the chick is.
These are the two that I bought and they were labeled "black australorp" Rose is the black one who is overly friendly so may be a roo. Let me know what you think or if my pictures stink, Ill try again.

I'm going with sebright also due to size. And my Austrolorp is overly friendly too which made me think roo but shes still looking like a she. May be a breed trait...its my first time with one.
That is really helpful! I love the Australorp. Just amazing. Jumps in my hands. Dave isn't as outgoing but I am excited to see how he? turns out.
