Sold to me as Crested Creme LegBars

I was sold these as Crested Cream LegBars Due to the Crested top. One has a Red Crest one has a Black Crest. Do you think these are CCL or a mix of maybe CCL and Wellsummers. ?? Red Crest is laying a Brown Egg, which I googled and it said that a brown egg is rare but happens, and the other is not laying yet.

I think you're right, and these are Legbar/Welsumer crosses. Usually you'd get green or olive eggs from a bird with that parentage, but not 100% of the time. They have no barring so that differentiates them from purebred cream legbars.

They look like they are a Crested Cream Legbar x Welsummer mix. They are definitely not pure Crested Cream Legbars.
