Chimi, the sole survivor of the dog attack, escaped by flying over our backyard fence. While I overwhelmingly approve of her escape...it seems she's now realized "hot dang! I can fly!!" And she's flying over the fence every chance she gets. My kids have had birds before and I've clipped their wings, but clipping her wings seems much more daunting. I've found several articles and I'm pretty sure I can do it, but mostly in just worried about putting her through another stressful experience so soon after the dog attack. She's always been very friendly and confident but since the attack she's very skittish and won't let anyone near her. I want to work back to her trusting us and I just don't want to stress her out more. Should I wait a while to deal with her wings?
