Solo's growing up! New name, new pictures.

I just can't resist posting pictures of these two - Again, this is Frack, my house chicken with her only foster chick. Frack and chick come in every night for treats and to sleep and then go out at daylight every morning.

Well, she doesn't go very far upstairs, but other than that, she has free roam of the house. She is pretty much housebroken, but occasionally (I'd say maybe once every couple of weeks) has an accident. She goes to the front door and starts cackling when she wants to go out. She usually stays out the whole day, unless it's raining or cold. When she decides to come back in, she starts scratching at the door. She's pretty spoiled, but we love her. She was pretty well ripped up by a roo probably in January, and so has been our house chicken ever since. She has her own dog kennel in the kitchen as well as a dog bed.

I would like to know how to,we had a house chicken and it pooped everywhere

I don't know how, she just doesn't poop in the house!!!

I guess it helps that I am at her beck and call, opening the front door for her to come and go as she pleases.

Solo has a new name - Prince Poppycock! They still come in and go out as they please. Prince (or Poppy if he's a she) has explored the entire first floor of the house. It's a shame he's not housebroken! Frack is moulting now, so she's leaving feathers everywhere. The good news is her entire back and sides where the roo ripped her up are growing new feathers. She's going to be beautiful again!
