So, In the past I have seen post on how to prevent guinea fowl from fighting when female is laying. So with that being said I wanted to share the solution I came up with last Summer and it is working still to this day. I have a pen that's approximately 22 ft long 6 and 1/2 to 7 ft wide enclosed. At first I tried taking the mail that was with the female because I have five guineas and all all males and one female so naturally they're going to fight. But the first thing I did was I took the mail and female out and put them in another pen. That did not work they hollered for each other all night long. So what I came up with has worked like a charm I took and divided the 20-ft PIN with fencing so that they could still see each other and in the mornings when I go to feed them I would take some of the feed and put on the other half and then leave feed on the initial half because the guineas that are getting hurt naturally they jump on the roost Pole because they're afraid of the dominant male and then the dominant male and the female will go to the other side and then I just shut the gate in between them. They still see each other so they don't holler for each other but they can't hurt each other and then at night right when it starts to get dark I open the gate and let them all join back together and they get up on the roof Pole and it works terrific . But since guineas trade-up partners so often sometimes there's one guinea by itself on one side but they're fine with that because they're not getting hurt so it's not always the same Guinea but I separate them but still keep them next to each other I'll have a picture attached. I've been doing this since beginning of last Summer so for anybody who's having that problem with caged guineas. It works like a charm and now I don't have to see one Guinea getting torn apart in there pen. I hope this helps!
