The ones on the MD end are not sold, their population is controlled through birth control rather than the auctions that happen on the VA end.Yes I think it was buttercup something I cant remember, she was sold for quite a bit of money! We were sad about Jester though...
We don't really go out much and see the bands because there are just so many tourists around and unfortunately a lot of them aren't too nice...
I've been to the MD end 2 times and went around Christmas and it was pretty much deserted. But, no bugs either which is a major plus.
With you being closer it would probably be easier for you to go on a nice winter day, I have to plan way in advance and get a hotel room and all so I get whatever weather happens while I'm there. The first year was nice, it was in the 50's and obviously windy, but not bad, the 2nd year it was cold enough the ocean was freezing in the shallows... that was less pleasant... lol
