ohh, sorry that's not what I was trying to say. I know that it wasn't just because of the color. I do wish I knew what breed combinations those hens were because they are great.

In my experience wild, landrace and game breeds are all significantly healthier than production chickens. Cross any of your chickens with those and their offspring should be far tougher
