I like showing off my horses, so here are a few more pictures of sedona, the new horse. We brought her up to the round pen the other day to see how she would react and she did very well. She knows her stuff, but needs a little bit of refining. My dad has been watching Clinton Anderson videos and worked with the previous owner before we brought her home to learn her proper cues. She definitely has some beautiful gaits!

Waiting to join up. It took a few times before she did it properly, but once she realized what it was we wanted, she was perfect.

I wish this picture wasn't quite so blurry. I love it otherwise.

Yep, she is a dark red roan. Her coloring is always changing in different light. Its really neat actually! Sometimes she looks like she has so much white that she is an app and other times she looks like a brown horse. I sure wish I knew her breeding and background!

I'm really happy with her so far. The big test will actually be getting on her back. Nobody wants to get hurt! Of course, she hasn't shown any craziness other than a little spooking here and there, but you never know what can happen under saddle! We will just have to start slow. Apparently she rides wonderfully, but you are always skeptic about a new horse! (The good thing is that if she isn't the riding horse we think, we can bring her back to the people we got her from)
