We rototilled a couple pens this week... These are my spalding and cameo pens... the door between the 2 pens was open all winter so they had more space.
Getting ready to separate them all into breeding pens. But first we are repairing winter damage and tidying up

One thing we did was rototill the packed solid hard ground... makes the pens look so much better and the birds LOVE LOVE it when we do this... they find all kinds of bugs to eat and lay in it and take their dirt baths.... nothing like watching a huge flock of different colored peacocks all taking a dirt bath together LOL
They were SOO SOO happy you could almost hear them sing!

Of course you know I take lots of photos.... here ya go.

I have had up to 13 birds free range, and too many penned

I still have most of last years peachicks here. They are looking great, so its time I start moving them out..

Right now only the blackshoulder boy is free ranging.

Thanks I have a photo of Christmas eve a few years ago. I went out to lock up the coops early, before dark, and the free range peacocks had already gone to bed in their tall tree.... the peacock tree. Its a great photo showing 13 peafowl in the tree on Christmas Eve

The roto tilling was hubbies idea a few years ago... we do it every year now.
