Some of my chickens have black around their nose holes, is that normal

I've noted lately that some of my chickens have black around their nose holes and others don't. Is this normal or is something wrong? I fear it might be some fungus or disease. Anyone to help me with this? I'm new to the forum and at figuring out wha

Maybe they were just digging in the dirt. When they dig with their beaks, they can get dirt up their nares. Sometimes, I even have to dig it out, LOL. Silly birds.

Some of mine have this too and I noticed before they were ever as round dirt.
