Too cute!! I will definitely have to check around the post office and the court house. My experience is that they are always abundant in old town and around Bahama Village. As far as I know, Blue Heaven is still the Key West Gypsy chicken Mecca!! Free food scraps all day? Heck, yeah!!

I'll be heading down there in a couple of weeks, can't wait to start looking! I'll post pics if I catch any

I'll try to post pics of the new ones soon. The babies have fowl pox and look like little monsters, lol. There are also a lot down near Mallory Square. We always see lots at the little brick garden area. ( I have a brick in it and we always go look at it) Good luck catching some! If either of my 2 new chicks are roos, you can make a road trip to north Ga and have one!

That gray mix is something else. Beautiful, I've never seen that coloring.

My newest additions. Mom Bonnie, after the tropical storm that was heading for Key West while we were there. Baby Zip and Kapok, named after the Kapok tree roots they were nesting in out in front of the post office.

Oops, dont know how to rotate, sorry.

So pretty! She's such a regal looking bird, right? Almost doesn't look like a chicken sitting in those roots!!

Shes very small, so shes pretty young. I got them out of the transport box and into a large wire dog kennel and the babies squeeze right in and out. Im hoping nothing gets them while they are still so small.
