The Jersey Giants are some of the biggest Chickens I have ever seen!! I wonder if someone has some Roosters and Hens and what they have to say about them. But the Pumpkin (Goldens) aren't all that big, just sleek game roosters, but this strain is so beautiful!!

Jersey Giants were on my list when I was trying to narrow down my first breed. I think I dropped these guys because they were flighty and loud. I have a low ceiling run that would likely not suit a flighty breed.

IMO...That would be a great choice if you want gentle chickens and huge eggs!!

I beleive they're going to be real winners. They have the little whiskers, hopefully they're going to lay huge, blue, green......eggs. We'll see, I guess!!
