some one got mixed up

....went out this afternoon to check the egg boxes and give the girls some sliced grapes ,''

''''' when i opened the run door , i saw a egg in a nest on the straw floor ...

.....{{{ i use the straw litter run system as my run is completely covered with a metal roof }}} that side of the run has 3 nest boxes , 2 of which had 1 egg each---is this just a normal quirk , or should i get away from the straw run before i develop a problem , especially now that winter is not too far away....

......any advise , input to this novice would be really appreceiated ...

I doubt the straw caused a problem. I'd just wait and see if it recurred. Maybe a hen just got in a hurry.
