Some photos for your viewing pleasure

Alrighty, I think I'm finally done being lazy! Lol, had some of these re-sized the other day but not uploaded. Takes a while to filter through all 500-ish photos and figure out which ones are the keepers and resize them. Here's the next batch. Lol, I really, really liked the spider monkeys--hence, there are a ton of pictures of them. Juuuust got to the beginnings of the giraffe ones, but I'll do more later. Got a funny one of a giraffe running and kicking with joy!!

Sorry for the crappy photo--was the ONLY decent picture I got of the penguins. Depressing!!

Mid-jump! Sadly didn't catch him fully in the air but he jumped completely over his little buddy.

Good job w/ your pics. Taking pics at the zoo is also a hobby of mine. (least expensive safari ever) That and a macro lens in my back yard. I know what you mean about sorting through "500 shots" to find the keepers. I don't post many here BYC, but have over 2000 on my FB page (mere drop in the bucket compared to whats on my slave drive!! )

I haven't been to the Jacksonville zoo, but am planning on a trip to the Houston zoo they have a new area just opened that sounds irresistable.

Pinky, was that when the exhibit first opened up? I haven't been to the Jax zoo in years, so this was the first time I saw them, myself.

Kassaundra, thank you! Lol, no kidding about the least expensive safari thing. That and a vastly lessened chance of being mauled by a wild animal. (The only maulings you have to worry about are of the human variety in lines!) Wow, you've got a ton of pics, lol. My camera is fairly new, but a while back I realized my SD card was full...and then I had to go through all 1200 (

) pictures and figure out what to do with them. LOL! Didn't let it fill up again.

The Jax zoo is a good one. I'd suggest you do go if you get the chance; hopefully the Houston zoo will be a good trip for you!
