My coop is in my small barn- the inside coop area is 10X24, and has an additional 10X6 area where the roosts are at- it is L shape, and the run is on the long part off the front of the building- and it is 10X20.... Here is a pic of the nest boxes on one wall...

Here is the roost area(ready for cleaning)

Here is a space about 5X10 I sectioned off inside the big coop for the trio of teeny bopper barred rock girls... I used aluminum framed window screens screwed to a 2X6 at the bottom, and hung bird netting over the top-

Looks like a good place for chickens. I just put up a new pen for my ducks, see website! Pretty excited about it. Lightweight, made out of pvc, then it can move around the yard.

I have 14 layers right now- and all are laying...I have mostly RIR, 3 BO...and I have 3 5 week old BR's....... And now I have 45 misc. chicks, 2 ducklings, 2 turkey poults, and 1 gosling....
