My girls have not started laying yet, but I was wondering a few questions:
1. How long after my girl mates will she lay a fertile egg?
2. How many eggs will she lay after mating that will be fertile?

This may be confusing, but I think you get the idea....thanks!

No...Seriously it all depends on the breeding. You have to wait. Ducks breed best in a Kiddie pool.
Thanks!!! Sorry I am so eager...I just really want ducklings, but I guess it is all up to my ducks! Once my girls start to lay I will just have to wait and see....Thanks!

I would also not use the first eggs but ones from a couple of weeks of laying. Will you incubate them in an incubator?

Most likely yes! Unless I have a duck that wants to be a mama then I will just let her take the lead...she knows how to do it way better then me!:):p
