There are these weird wormy parasites in my bators water dripper!! I don't know what the heck they are or how they got there, they weren't there last night!! I panicked and disinfected the entire incubator and I'm also boiling some tap water (which I will later cool) in case it was something in the tap water. anyone know what the heck this could be?! all I could think is some bacteria that came from this one egg?? it was particularly dirty and I'd thought I'd take a chance anyway, turns out it wasn't even fertile at all! I'm kinda freaking out I had made sure the incubator was properly disinfected and cleaned before first use but the parasites were actually only in my water dripper that I use to add water?? is it possible something could have got in there through the top of the dripper??
Really I think you have taken all the right steps in sterilizing your incubator (which you probably already do before and after every hatch) and boiling the water (keep it in a sealed container until ready to use) I'm guessing it will be a one time occurrence. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, hopefully someone else will chime in who knows more, though it might not be till a more decent hour of the morning!
