At the feed store Saturday they had an order book on the counter open with one customers order on it. They wanted 478 pullets and one rooster.

I wonder what they were thinking.

If you order pullets there is a 10% chance of getting roosters. I would not have even ordered the one unless it was one I particularly wanted. That customer is probably going to end up with 30 or 40 roos.
