This LITTLE SH*T! I had this baby and his/her 12 siblings all in a big plastic tote in my room under a heat lamp. This morning I moved all the babies outside full time to their new coop (they had been going out during the day and coming inside at night).... Now I moved them around 9 am this morning and I plan to leave them out full time now since they are fully feathered (though they will have heat if they want it).... anyways fast forward to now. It's past 9 PM and I am laying in bed.... I layed here enjoying my silence after a long day of working with animals and then I hear a soft *peep peep *.... I thought I was just having chickie withdrawals and was hearing stuff because I'm used to hearing my chicks at night.
I also have a incubator in my room with eggs due to hatch in like 4 days. I thought I was hearing stuff so I just rolled over and tried to go to sleep. I was almost asleep when I hear a *peep peep PEEP!*.... My eyes popped open I turned my light on and looked around.... nothing.... I checked the eggs in my incubator cause I thought maybe it was a egg starting to pip but .... no pips.... I was confused.... I tried to go back to sleep convinced I was going crazy and hearing things when once again I heard a *chirp chirp* I turned on my light AGAIN and there it was.... sitting on a wooden bird house.... it was one of my chicks that was supposed to be outside with the rest of them but somehow this little dude managed to get left behind. He stayed out in my room all day and I didn't even notice him! This little turd is going back out in the morning whether he likes it or not!
It's a good thing he is adorable. I spent a whole hour of sleeping time trying to find his butt!

dude plays a mean game of hide-n-cheep!
