Somebody must be dying....or really ticked off!

Let ducks out and was filling their water. I hear a heck of a racket down by the pond all three hens squawking like crazy. Go running down there figuring a predator has gotten someone. Apparently, it is offensive for someone to cover their pond....frozen solid. They were seriously ticked! And as loud as I, or the neighbors, have ever heard them.

They did find one small area of open water - see background - but they didn't stay in it long.
