someone brought some roosters over... they have wierd stuff on feet...

Ok so i just got to looking at their feet and it looks like there is stuff growing on them, what the heck is it? I can take a picture later. But any ideas? It is contagious?

maybe try washing it off??? could just be something they stepped in, so try that.

Spray their legs with WD 40 or give them a light coating of vaseline. It sounds like leg mites. Repeat this every so often and it will prevent a re ocurrance.

Some people don't like to use petroleum products on their birds, but I see nothing wrong with it.

Probably scaly leg mites. Generously rub Vaseline on them and the crud will start falling off in a couple of days and they'll look a lot better. Then I'd put more on in a few days. I think Bag Balm would work well too. Two or three applications should do the trick.
