ok can someone please help , my chick had curled toes on one foot and it couldnt walk so it used to walk on one foot and then on its hock
so i made it a boot 2 days ago and it was still walking on its hock with the boot on .

today i took the boot off and its toes were straight and they had tension they could grip but i suppose it couldnt walk on its feet after so long on its hock [IMG]
its gotten so used to like pushing its hip down that it cant put it up if i physically put its leg in the right place it will stay but as soon as i let go it falls back down on its hock .... [IMG]

it is only three .......maybe 4 days old

see this is how a leg is meant to look

but instead at the top of its leg it goes straight down then at its hock it goes out at like a right angle i wish i had a picture but i cant upload ones from my computer
the chick is hopping about relitavely well ,it is not heavilly breathing ,it drinks on its own and its eating a mixture of un-medicated chick crumbs ( ground up into a powder) and a bit of egg yolk which is made into a mash and it eats lots of tiny mealworms.

can someone please help or tell me how to maybe splint the leg so it is upright i really dont want it to die [IMG]

oh and i forgot its bedding is a teatowel x
