. i posted this in wrong place b4 maby here i can get more feedback.I have a 4 month old sick little turkey. He is very tame even loves rideing a atv and i want to cure him. I had to leave hom with a freind for a week in a smaller pen with 3 turkeys a lil younger than him. He is used to free rangeing. When i picked him up he was sick but the other birds seemed fine. He has yellow watery poop and seems weak. His wings droop and feathers are ruffled. He is drinking and eating but when he eats about 4 or 5 bites he stops for a while. I started him on corif.. Poultry provita and nutridrench today. I have him quarinteened. Any advice will be much appreciated. I am new to turkeys and backyard chickens but pray yall can help. ........................ It is now day 3 he seems better talking his head off and eating and drinking well. Droppings still runny with yellow tint and when i tilt him forward liquid pours from nose or mouth caint tell. But he drinks alot so probably came up from crawl. Here is a pict from his favorite resting spot been trying to break this habit but gave in thay day.

Also have pict of ddroppings if it helps. Just read about black head and words like valbazen and fenbendazole and metronidazol i dont know were to get this stuff if i need it. My vet wont take him said best i can do is get antibiotics and medicated feed. Cant find the med feed but he is loving the wal mart crickets

It sounds like he may have picked up a different strain of coccidia from the other turkeys. Make sure that your Corid dosing is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water, and treat him for 5 days. I wouldn't use both the Provita and NutriDrench at the same time. Some don't even use vitamins until after the Corid is finished, but I think the NutriDrench is fine because of his weakness, but I just wouldn't mix anything into the Corid water, and make it his only source. If he will eat, you can even put some Corid water in his feed. Hope your cute little guy gets better soon.

Eggcessive ty so much. I havnt a clue what i am dooing. As a kid my grandparnts had chickens but dont ever recall them getting sick. Now i have about 30 chickens 1 grown tom 2 hens 7 poults and this lil sick poult that is a pet.... spoiled rotton. I hatched hom n a chicken from a inccubater n they r inseprable........ Can someone direct me on were to find info that tells me what drugs or preventive meds i need to give my birds. Like at what age; how often; how much ect ect

Tried this also hope it dont hurt him. Fed him crickets dipped in corrid powder and Cayenne pepper. He ate about 15 fast as he could

Wow, that's a new one to dip crickets in Corid. There is a turkey thread where you could probably get more accurate advice here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/20/turkeys. The only thing I would know to treat with is the occasional wormer, which SafeGuard liquid goat wormer and Valbazen are the best ones for poultry. Most people with chickens use a probiotic and a vitamin in the water 2-3 times a week to promote immunity to diseases, and I would learn about blackhead disease. Here is a link about blackhead: http://www.thepoultrysite.com/diseaseinfo/74/histamonosis-histomoniasis-blackhead
