Someone please help......Had chicks in incubator for 18 days one broke his beak through and waited a couple hours and tried to help. Sae a little red on membrane, got scared, put him back till this morning. Helped him out. It went perfect. Saw no blood at all. Now he is in warm washcloth and pot back in incubator. What do I do now. Someone please help.

you have them in the incubator? instead of a brooder? If that's the case, I'd put them in a brooder first off. You should be starting to wean them off of heat, in increments.

as for the beak, I can't help much there, being new to this whole thing myself. What did he break his beak on?

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

When they pip like yours has, they need to sit for a while as they absorb the last of the yolk and detatch themselves from the inside of the egg. This can take 24 hours to perform and gain strength to zip our of the egg. It is never advised to help unless they haven't zipped after a couple of days and are struggling.

I will move this over to our Hatching Eggs forums for more help. Good luck and welcome to our group! :)
