Someone please help!!

Had to assist my little chick because it was getting shrink wrapped, it has something red sticking out.

What is it, and what do I do?

I have read that sometimes when a chick hatches, the yolk is not fully absorbed. It is not to uncommon, and usually the yolk gets absorbed over the course of a few days after hatching.

But what is the red part? Is that yolk sack? The chick is acting totally normal. The yellow stuff was coming out right before the pic.
