Someone please HELP!!!!!!!

We did it! And it worked well. Her crop is full of water now. We massaged it so hopefully it will break up. Next tubing I will do 4 houses from now. Thank you Kathy! I used to have to tube feed baby kittens so this was cake walk compared to that! So just keep giving her fluids that's my plan. What happens if her crop doesn't empty?

I would just keep tubing the Corid water until she poops. When she does poop, can you take a picture of it and post it? How much water were you able to tube?

If you feel comfortable doing it, you could try tubing more fluids, but only if you think you won't be over filling her crop. You can also increase tubing intervals. Question... was it hot where you are yesterday or the day before? Heat stroke can cause the symptoms you're seeing.

Yes it has been 100 degrees at least. Really hot. I last tube feed her at 8ish and got another 30 in her. Her crop didn't seem over filled at all. I have my timer set for 5 hours next. Will she recover if it's heat stroke?? I didn't think about heat stroke!

The last one with heat stroke I had had also had a firm, full crop, and it took three days of tubing, but she did recover 100%.

Wowwwwww. I'm in shock. I put out frozen water bottles and put frozen water bottles in their waterers. They have a little wading pool too. This poor girl is at the bottom of the pecking order. Heat stroke makes sense though. Wow!

I would check for any lumps - our LaFleche looked like that, brought her to the Avian Emer. vet clinic & dx with Meriks (?sp) disease. Had to put her down :-(

These are her poops. See how dark green they are.
