Someone plz reply!! Need HELP!

So Iv noticed this egg is completely dark and I have read That the duckling will pippe or some thing into an air sac in the egg. I'm really confused

.
Is the dark thing in the air sac it's beak just SOMEONE HELP haha I'm real nervous.
If it doesn't hatch within 26 day should I bust the egg open? It was laid on 3-21-14

When did you start incubating? I'm not sure what I'm seeing in your picture, so I can't help you there. You will not see any pipping into the air cell until at least day # 26. And even then, it's difficult to see, and you may never actually see it. So, I'd put that egg back in the incubator, and let it do it's thing. Relax. All we can do is the best we can do. After that, it's up to the duckling!
