My chicks are going to be free. I have 5 broodys. I don't need anymore chicks but I'm blaming mother nature for this one. I had to give those hens some eggs.

I guess I'll have to use the storage area for chickens.

I was just looking at MM last night as they have all the breeds I had wanted and did not get....available in a couple weeks. And I just happen to have a friend taking my evil rooster, which leaves his girlfriend to be integrated with the regular flock. And leaves their pen open! Whoo?

I need more chickens like I need a hole in my head, but I really really (really?) want some BIG girls for my Jersey Giant roo. His girls are all itty leghorns, pullets and some petite cochins. He is going to squash everyone

Better buy him more!

You're going to be very proud of me, I decided I had better not get any more chicks this year!

Makes me sad but I figure it's the best thing to do and to just enjoy all the babies I have and will have on the 24th! Pretty good huh?

The jersey giants are just beautiful, I bet he is going to be very happy with you for getting him some girls more appropriate in size for him!!

I was just looking and it looks like the Giants are no longer available

He is 3 months old so still kind of looks like a girl. Other than the part where he is about 2 feet tall and has GIANT legs.

Here are some bad pics (hand camera to old man and you lose a head, focus, etc). Keep in mind I am a full sized average adult....he is bigger than any full sized hen I have ever met. At 3 months.........oy vey.....
