Someone told me strawberry tops are toxic to chickens?????

Any truth to the whole strawberry top (the green leafy part) being toxic to chickens...

Mine dont like strawberries regardless but I am curious now.

I did some searches and didnt find an answer.

I also couldnt find strawberries on the treat chart.

Um, I think someone is pulling your leg. Mine love anykind of fruit and tops of tomatoes, strawberries and apples aren't a problem. I don't feed them apple seeds but I did recently discover a watermelon seed in my egg yolk. Kinda funny.

Watermelon seeds cannot end up inside an egg yolk because watermelon seeds and egg yolks come from entirely different biological sources. Watermelon seeds are part of the watermelon fruit, while egg yolks are components of eggs laid by birds. There is no biological mechanism for a watermelon seed to enter and be incorporated into an egg yolk.
