This pic shows the main 5 X 4 coop, with the 8 X 8 range in its south location, and the 4 X 8 chicken tractor butted against range to give more grazing area. coop is now overcrowded with seven birds. so until I complete the next little coop for them, I like having this extra range space. Notice the skids: the sort of semi-circle pieces of wood on the chicken tractor. The bottom board fits onto these and allows the chicken tractor to glide along the grass as I pull it. And no need to spend money for wheels!
