Well, it was supposed to be 25 pullets and 2 cockerels in the order and I took the majority of those chicks. The majority all came in together to Rural King and one lady took 5 and I took the restUsually you’ll see color in comb, or comb and wattles. If you got straight run, then you might be looking at quite a few males.

This one looks pretty light to me. Any color in comb/wattles yet?
I then went back the following wk and bought 12 more, different order that came in.
Then my husband bought me 6 from another rural king.
Not all of these have survived.
I'd be ok with 3 boys, anymore than that will have to be dispatched.
No red on that one at all

I am excited to see how they grow and who is who. I am glad to hear that my worrisome chick looks like a barred rock.
