I think I posted twice and when I went to delete one they both got deleted.
So the drake grabs my hens' eye corner and holds tight while mating. When he is done he kind of falls off to one side and does not immediately let go of the hen's eye lid and she squawks as I'm sure it hurts a lot. I also wonder if this might effect their vision.

Yeah, sadly this is somewhat normal for drakes. They take a bit to learn how to do it properly. But he could potentially hurt her eye. When my drakes we're first starting to mate, I would take them off the females sometimes when things like this were happening. One of my boys would bite the face of the female . Eventually they get it right, but gosh does it take awhile to learn.
